Andrew Frisenda

Overview And Experience
Andrew joined the firm in 2025 and brings with him over 15 years of experience as a trusts and estates litigator in the greater New York metropolitan area. Andrew is proficient in handling disputes involving trusts and estates of modest size as well as those valued at over $100 million.
Andrew practices in the New York State Surrogate’s Courts, where he participates in the Alternative Dispute/Mediation program and regularly appears before the New York Supreme Courts (including the Appellate Divisions), United States District Courts, Connecticut Probate Courts, and Connecticut Superior Courts.
Combining a deep understanding of jurisprudence and legal history, attention to unique details present in every case, and a practical, results oriented methodology, Andrew has found great success advocating on behalf of clients. This approach has earned him a proven record not only in litigated trusts and estates matters (e.g. will and trust contests, turnover proceedings, contested accountings, fiduciary removal proceedings, etc.), but also in the field of professional malpractice prosecution and defense, litigated corporate matters, litigated Article 81 guardianships, defamation claims, attorney fee disputes, judgment enforcement, and ensuing Appellate litigation.
Andrew is a dynamic member of the legal community on both local and state levels. He is a past president of the White Plains Bar Association, the current Vice Chair of the Westchester County Bar Association Trusts & Estates Executive Committee, and Co-Chair of the Westchester County Bar Association Appellate Practice Committee. Andrew is also an active member of the New York State Bar Association CPLR Committee and a frequent contributor to the periodicals of both the Westchester County and New York State Bar Associations.
Andrew continues his trusts and estates litigation practice at Cohen, Soloway & Wooldridge, P.C., and also engages in trust and estate administration and planning, serving the diverse needs of our clients.
